Questions for written answer

Peers can question the Government through by tabling questions for written answer. Jenny’s questions can be viewed here

Peers enter questions on the Order Paper via the Lords Table Office. Peers may table up to six questions each day and can expect an answer within 14 days

There is a cost to the tax payer which in 2009 was roughly £100 per question
