Solar panels will be a new priority for schools in London following Jenny Jones’ unanimous Greater London Assembly motion for funding to be made available in the Mayor’s 2015-16 budget.
In January Jenny revealed that, of the 200 London schools that had been or were going to be retrofitted with energy saving measures through the RE:FIT programme, not a single one would be getting solar panels.
